Embracing the Journey: The Rollercoaster Ride of Building a brand!

Hello, Queens!

If you’re new to Queens Wear Robes or the "How to Queen" blog, welcome! I’m the founder behind the vision, and while you may see the luxurious robes and the elegance we offer, there’s so much more behind the scenes that I’ve been longing to share with you. Like every entrepreneur, my journey has been one of thrilling highs, steep learning curves, and countless moments in between.

It All Started With a Dream...

When I first dreamed of Queens Wear Robes, I envisioned creating more than just a brand. I wanted to give women a way to truly embrace their inner royalty. The idea was to build a collection of robes that made you feel like a queen from the moment you put them on—whether you were ruling your home or treating yourself to some quiet self-care. But here’s the truth: building this brand from the ground up wasn’t as glamorous as it looks. The robes may be beautiful, but the process has been full of long nights, endless decisions, literal bumps, bruises, stitches, blood, sweat, rain, tears, and moments of uncertainty. Sorry for the details but I wanted you to truly get the point. Its been hard and rough at times but, Oh so worth it!

But then, there’s YOU. My incredible community of early supporters, subscribers, and all the queens/kings who believed in this brand from the very start. When things got hard, it was your support and encouragement that kept me going. Every kind message, every purchase, every word of praise has reminded me that this journey no matter how challenging is absolutely worth it.

 The Struggles Behind the Glamour

Here’s something many people don’t talk about. Entrepreneurship isn’t always glittering success and grand ideas. There have been days when I’ve questioned everything—wondering if I’m making the right decisions, if the brand will reach more people, or if I’ll ever bring my vision to life the way I imagined it.

I’ve had moments when things just didn’t go according to plan. There were days when suppliers didn’t come through, when designs didn’t work out, and when the stress of building something this big from scratch felt overwhelming. But through every doubt, I’ve come to realize that even queens face challenges—and that’s okay. What matters is how we rise and keep going, adjusting our crowns as we take each step forward.

I have chronicled this journey through video and will be releasing videos, and blog posts revealing these obstacles and how I have overcome each one of them so make sure to check back to the blog weekly to see the journey unfold.

Building a Queendom: What’s Next for Queens Wear Robes?

The launch collection features 10 differnt styles and prints in the Robeline, however this is just the beginning! My vision for Queens Wear Robes goes beyond just robes. I am building an entire lifestyle for queens like you, so you can feel relaxed, pampered, and empowered from morning to night. Soon, the brand will expand into slippers, pajamas, lingerie, and more. The goal? To make sure that no matter the occasion, you feel like royalty.

But it doesn’t stop there. Over the next 2 years, I’ll be growing our collection to over 200 designs and prints, from resort wear, vacation beach cover-up robes, to bridal robes and expanding the short robe offerings. I want every queen to have a robe that perfectly suits her world, no matter where life takes her.

This is a whole new territory for me, and I’m learning as I go. But the excitement of expanding the brand into these new areas makes it all worth it. And for that, I’m so thankful to all of you who have been cheering me on from day one.

A Royal Announcement: Introducing "Dear Queeny”

I’m also thrilled to announce something I’ve been working on behind the scenes—my new "Dear Queeny" show, which will be hosted on YouTube so subscribe www.Youtube.com/PLTbyCormie so you don’t miss out on this beautiful, whimsical, comical, dramatic, but fun and inspiring show. In this series, I’ll be reading your letters, and talking about everything queen related. Like how to boost your confidence, tackling life’s challenges, how to make friends, self-care practices to make you feel like royalty. I want this to be a space where we can court, laugh, commune, sip our tea, coffee and champagne, share advice, and support each other, because even the strongest queens need encouragement sometimes. If you would like your actual letter featured on the show, feel free to write into P.O. Box 183 Saint Georges, DE 19733, or send an email at contact@queenswearrobes.com subject line “Dear Queeny”.
